We’ve been making more additions to our Tools for Digital Research page. Check ’em out and let us know what you think…
The Chirurgeon’s Apprentice: A website dedicated to the horrors of pre-anaesthetic surgery.
Books, Health, and History: A new blog from the New York Academy of Medicine, one of our MHL partner institutions.
Neatline: a set of Omeka plug-ins “for hand-crafted geo-temporal visualization and interpretation.”
The History Carnival: “…a monthly showcase of blog writing about history, usually held on the 1st day of the month. It’s hosted at a different blog each month to provide a variety of approaches and perspectives.”
And the Guardian newspaper has started a couple of new blogs in their Science section but the authors are giving plenty of time to interdisciplinary issues, including history and medicine: there’s Occam’s Corner and The H Word.
