The MHL’s collaborative project Expanding the Medical Heritage Library: Preserving and Providing Online Access to Historical Medical Periodicals digitized over 3,000 volumes (over 1.7 million pages) of medical journals, primarily dating from 1797-1923. These volumes comprise 336 journal titles, of which many are complete or nearly complete runs.
Journal volumes are arranged alphabetically by the publication title, then by volume number and publication date. The URL is a hyperlink to the digitized text.
Download a full CSV file of the journal information. Alternately, download a copy of the file from our public Google Drive folder.
This project was supported through generous funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Grant Number: PW‐51014‐12.
